Supply and Demand for Investment in Africa

Large cap. companies and investors have gobbled up most of the major public sector contracts in Africa over the years.  They are poised to continue to be the major investors in Africa.  They will make it extremely difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and investors to successfully bid on the larger contracts.

However, a report just out by Standard and Poor’s along with McKinsey shows that the demand for SMEs and small cap. investors lags far behind the demand.

Most foreign SMEs look on African countries as the territory of the larger firms.  Share this report with as many SME executives as possible.  It is now their time to profit in Africa.
